Welcome aboard, Samantha Costa! We’re thrilled to have you join the Entrawood team and can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make as our new Sales Manager. Your expertise and passion will no doubt be invaluable, and we’re looking forward to great things ahead! We wanted to officially introduce Samantha and give you a little more info about her.
A summary of Samantha’s professional background and what led her to Entrawood:
I began my career in the office furniture industry at just 19, starting in an administrative support role. Over the years, I expanded my expertise into marketing, while gaining in-depth knowledge of furniture manufacturing and on-site installation management. For the past fifteen years, I’ve been especially passionate about sales, where I thrive on building relationships and delivering tailored solutions. My journey led me to Entrawood because of my deep appreciation for locally manufactured products. What truly stood out to me is that Entrawood is a proudly South African company—its skilled craftsmen produce work that can confidently compete on a global scale.
What is your best tip when embarking on an office refurb?
When approaching an office refurbishment, I always recommend that company leadership intentionally reflects the culture they aim to foster. Selecting furniture and workspace configurations that align with that vision plays a key role in shaping how teams engage with their environment. When the physical space supports the desired culture, it empowers employees to perform at their best and feel more connected to the organisation’s values.
What are 3 words that describe you?
Dedicated, Passionate and Driven
How do you deal with a tough client/project?
When faced with a challenging client or project, I take a step back and refocus on the shared end goal. Whether you’re the supplier or the client, everyone ultimately wants the same outcome—a beautifully fitted, functional space delivered on time and with minimal complications. In those moments, I stay solution-oriented, roll up my sleeves, and do whatever it takes to keep the project on track. I always try to view the situation from the client’s perspective and ask myself, ‘If I were in their shoes, what would I expect?’ That mindset helps me maintain empathy while staying focused on delivering results.

I recently had the opportunity to build my own home, and while I thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the overall layout and design, the most exciting part for me was selecting and placing the furniture. It gave me a deeper appreciation for how the form and function of each piece can significantly impact the way we experience a space. I’ve come to realize that furniture isn’t just decorative—it brings life, purpose, and comfort to a room. Without it, a space can feel empty and incomplete.
